That's why we create collections of storybooks and matching coloring books that invite children and grown-ups to
read, talk and color together.
After a busy day at school or work, it's wonderful to slow down for a while. Curl up together with a story, let your imagination wander, and enjoy the conversations that naturally grow from reading and coloring.
Coloring the illustrations from the story helps children relax, express their creativity and gently process the many impressions of the day.
Every Archie BC book is created with love, with the hope of bringing families a little more peace, imagination and togetherness.

Archie BC hopes to offer children and grown-ups a gentle place where they can slow down, connect and simply enjoy being together.
Many of our stories also explore important themes such as friendship, courage, bullying and talking about feelings.
Stories can help children understand emotions in a safe, loving and playful way. We believe that reading together opens the door to meaningful conversations that help children grow with confidence.

Ingrid van der Knaap
Creator & Illustrator
Drawing and painting have always been an important part of Ingrid's life. She lovingly illustrates the stories and is the creator of Fluts, Flutselina and the magical world they live in.
Ingrid is also the driving force behind Archie BC and everything that grows from it.
Elsbeth de Jager
Author
Elsbeth is a teacher and creative translator who loves writing children's stories and poetry.
Her books often explore meaningful social themes, woven into warm and engaging stories that are easy for children to understand. She loves horses and Indonesia, the homeland of her ancestors.

Eric van Gennip
Author
Eric is the father of three children and teaches at a university of applied sciences.
In his work, he helps people develop flexible thinking and resilience so they can adapt to a rapidly changing world. These ideas also find their way into his children's books, where magical adventures meet everyday life and encourage children to look at the world with curiosity and confidence.
Caring for our world
At Archie BC, we care not only about children, but also about the world they grow up in.
That's why all our books are produced using Print on Demand. Every book is printed only after it has been ordered, helping to avoid unnecessary stock and waste.
Orders are shipped through existing distribution networks, reducing additional transportation wherever possible.
For that reason, all Archie BC books are available through Amazon.
