The Malangproject
Malang is a beautiful city in East Java, Indonesia.
Like many cities, it also has neighbourhoods where families have very little. Many children grow up with limited access to books, educational materials and everyday opportunities that many of us take for granted.
Fortunately, a local organisation called HARUM supports these children by providing education from preschool through the teenage years. There is always a need for learning materials, storybooks and creative activities.
Inspired by this project, illustrator Ingrid and author Elsbeth created a collection of interactive storybooks and coloring books especially for these children.
Filled with cheerful illustrations, simple educational activities, puzzles and games, these books encourage children to learn, imagine and enjoy reading together.
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of stories, creativity and learning—wherever they live.
